    General Product Information

  • Beverages containing turmeric or better known as curcuma and ginger are the latest trend: Whether ginger tea or Golden Latte with curcuma – there is currently no getting around these two ingredients, for a reason: Both ginger and curcuma have many positive properties. Both have an anti-inflammatory effect; ginger is additionally warming, and curcuma is a strong antioxidant. This makes both ginger and curcuma ideal for strengthening the body's defenses, in addition to supporting recovery if you happen to come down with a cold.
  • With the Ginger Curcuma Drink, BoldGain is picking up this trend, combining the two ingredients and further expanding its curcuma product line. The drink tastes good both when taken hot or cold. It contains neither table sugar nor sweeteners and can be sweetened to taste with sugar, honey or sweeteners.
  • Ingredients:

  • Maltodextrin, ginger powder 14%, lemongrass extract, acidulant citric acid, Vitamin C, curcuma root extract (gamma-cyclodextrin, curcuminoids) 0.2%, natural flavouring.

Like the curcuma root, ginger belongs to the family of Zingiber officinale. Native to tropical regions of Southeast Asia, ginger is cultivated today in tropical countries from Latin America to Africa.

Ginger contains essential oils and pungent compounds, which impart an aromatic smell and a tangy taste to ginger. Taken before going on a journey, ginger has a positive effect on the gastrointestinal tract and prevents nausea and vomiting. It has a digestive, stomachic, appetising, circulation-enhancing and warming properties

It comes from a reed-like grass growing up to one metre in height and is very important component of the Thai cuisine. Lemongrass contains citral, the aromatic component of lemon peel. It gives a fresh, lemony flavour without being too acidic. Citral helps with bloating

This helps to give the tea a fresh flavour, just to round off the taste.

This is an antioxidant which is very effective in all aqueous cell components. It helps to protects cell components, organs, other vitamins and proteins from free radicals. As an important metabolic substance, it increases natural resistance to infectious diseases, stimulates blood production centres, activates hormone production, supports the production of neurotransmitters which is very important for the production of collagen in connective tissue, tendons and bones. Vitamin C activates fat burning by supporting the production of carnitine, stimulates iron absorption by the body, activates folic acid and protects against allergies by inhibiting the production of the neurotransmitter histamine and accelerating its breakdown. As an eliminator of toxins, it activates detoxification of the liver, which filters toxic substances out of the blood, binds to heavy metals such as mercury, lead and other harmful substances, prevents nitrates from being transformed into carcinogenic nitrosamines.

    General Product Information

  • Indian saffron, as curcuma is also known, is a plant species that belongs to the ginger family. It is native to South Asia and is widely cultivated in tropical regions. In Europe, curcuma is known primarily as a spice; it is a main ingredient of curry powder, giving it its typical yellow colour. In Ayurvedic medicine, curcuma has been used as a remedy for centuries. For some years, curcuma has also been extensively studied in the West.
  • Curcuma is rich in plant secondary metabolites, referred to as curcuminoids. The root has one of the highest ORAC values, even higher than the ORAC value of goji berries, blueberries or chokeberries.
  • The ORAC value indicates the antioxidant capacity of a food, i.e. the ability to neutralise free radicals. Free radicals are highly unstable molecules that can damage cell structures in the whole body through oxidative processes. A major part of the effects of curcumin is attributed to its strong antioxidant properties. Due to its low water solubility, however, curcuma is poorly absorbed by the body. As in the Curcuma Caps, BoldGain uses a raw material with a 40 times higher bioavailability than commercially available curcuma extract.
  • The positive properties of curcumin at a glance are: Highly effective antioxidant, Stimulates gastric juice production, promotes digestion, Positive effect on bile acid production, Cleansing and energising effect, Proven pain-relieving effect in knee arthrosis, Anti-inflammatory, Contributes to fighting cancer cells, can reduce intestinal polyps and thus prevent colon cancer, reduces bone loss, strengthens the immune system, can have an antidepressant effect, can have a positive influence on diabetes.

    General Product Information

  • Problems falling asleep and sleeping through the night are common. Some people experience them at times, others generally have trouble getting to sleep. The reasons for this are often found in our everyday life, which is increasingly dominated by stress, busy schedules and heavy work-loads. Sleeping pills should only be taken with great care, because their effects are often limited to a short period of time and they are highly addictive.
  • Nature holds numerous plants in store with sedative and soporific properties, the most well-known ones being Melissa, valerian and hop leaves. By relaunching the Melissa Tea, BoldGain offers a mild agent for a better sleep. The low-calorie tea contains melissa, chamomile, valerian and hop leaves as well as the vitamins niacin and B6, and is sweetened with sucralose. With its fine taste, the Melissa-Valerian Tea ensures pleasant moments of relaxation.
  • Ingredients:

  • Maltodextrin (France, Turkey), natural flavouring, acidulant citric acid, plant extracts (melissa (Melissa officinalis, leaves), chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla, flowers), valerian (Valeriana officinalis, root), hop leaves), sweetener sucralose, nicotinamide, (niacin), pyridoxin hydrochlo-ride (vitamin B6).
  • Active Ingredients:

Melissa is originally native to the eastern Mediterranean area and Asia Minor, but has long since been cultivated in Central and Western Europe. It is one of the oldest known medicinal herbs and was already mentioned by the Greeks and the Romans. Melissa leaves contain essential oil with the main components citral and citronellal (impart the lemon-like flavour to the plant), Lamiaceae tannins (mainly rosmarinic acid) and flavonoids (plant secondary metabolites). Melissa is used as a traditional plant-based remedy for nervous sleep disorders. In addition, it is said to have sedative, relaxing, digestive and antiflatulent properties.

Today widespread in all Europe, North America and Australia, chamomile is originally native to South and Eastern Europe and Western Asia, and has been used as a remedy for thousands of years. The chamomile leaves, which contain essential oil, flavonoids and mucilage, are used. It has anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic and antimicrobial properties and promotes wound healing.

Native to Europe and Asia, valerian is now also widespread in North America. The underground plant parts, i.e. the rhizome and the roots, are used. The typical odour of valerian develops as isovaleric acid is released on drying. It contains a great number of different natural products, including plant secondary metabolites, such as mono and sesquiterpenes and iridoids. Valerian is said to have sedative, anxiolytic and soporific properties, which is why it is used to treat sleep disorders, restlessness and anxiety, nervousness, irritability and stress.

    Hop Leaves

Hops have been used in Central Europe for brewing beer since the 8th century and are found in any moderate climate. The dried female inflorescences, referred to as hop cones, are used as a remedy. They contain essential oil, hop resin with bitter compounds, flavonoids and tannins. Hop leaves are traditionally said to have sedative, soporific and antioxidative properties.

Sucrose gives the tea a mild sweet taste. A sweetener without any calories which is 600 times sweeter than sugar, sucralose does not have a bitter aftertaste. The sweet taste is perceived later and persists longer; a sweet aftertaste is still present long after swallowing. Sucralose is produced directly from sugar in a multi-stage process. It is a good substitute for fructose and glucose, because it tastes the same as sugar

This is a B-group vitamin essential for the absorption of oxygen by the blood (important after excessive alcohol consumption, because the liver requires more oxygen to break down alcohol) Niacin contributes to reducing high cholesterol levels and is essential for a healthy nervous system. Besides, it elevates mood.
